Who we are:
Student Experts is a fast paced Tucson startup, conceptualized at the University of Arizona’s McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship. Since launching mid-2008, we’ve helped ~9,000 businesses, hundreds of individuals and have grown to a team of over 60 people. Clients include venture funded Silicon Valley startups, Fortune 500 companies and small business consulting firms. Our bread and butter has always been helping small and medium sized businesses.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for students and recent grads with a passion for technology and helping small businesses. Maybe you’re an MIS major who has experience working with local businesses, or maybe you’re a PC hobbyist with great people skills. The bottom line is you love tech and you love helping people.
Your responsibilities may include helping small businesses set up Exchange email, online backup, and other online services — as well as teaching them how to effectively use social networks to promote their business.
You must be reliable, great on the phone, a master at Googling, and an excellent collaborator.
Pay:
Starting at $12/hour
